   Arenal Volcano Awaits!

Only 10 minutes by car from La Fortuna town, there`s one of the treasures of Arenal.

La Fortuna waterfall was formed when the Chato Hill still being a volcano. Before starting to hike we enjoy a great view from the observation deck, all the way down to it we see the volcanic rocks, once we get to the bottom there are two natural pools we are able to swim, one in front of the waterfall, the another just few feet below with very calm water perfect for kids.

This place has changing rooms, bathrooms, restaurant and local handcrafted souvenirs.
