Terms and Conditions

A. Principal Declaration

All reservations must be warranted by means of a credit card or paypal.com. When making your reservation the system will automatically charge the total amount and will give the confirmation number. The confirmation of the reservation will be subject to acceptance of the credit card included in the request form. Costa Rica Adventure & Guides does not confirm your reservation when your credit card presents some inconvenience, or is turned down. (Not accepted). In case of no room or tour space, a full refund will be issued to the client. All reservations will be confirmed by email or fax.

B. Modifications and Cancelations

All modifications and cancellations must be sent in writing via e-mail to our reservations department. The request must indicate the name of the person who made the reservation, quantity of people (adults and children), and confirmation number. Any modification or cancellation of a reservation must be informed by e-mail to: [email protected]. Please review the following refunds and penalties according to each date:

1. Cancellations:
   • any cancellation made 30 – 15 days prior arrival will receive a 60% refund over the guarantee credit card charge or payment;
   • any cancellation made 14 – 8 days prior to arrival receive a 50% refund over the guarantee credit card charge or payment;
   • any cancellation made 7 days prior to arrival will not receive a refund and will have a 100% penalty over the guarantee credit card charge or payment.
   • For special dates or holidays such as Christmas and Holy Week cancellations will be refunded only if the cancellation request is received at least 45 days prior to arrival. Any cancellation made after that will be fully charged and modifications might be subject to penalty.
   • NO SHOW (failure to appear) is not refunded.
2. No Shows, Late Cancellations, Unused nights or Services, or Early Checkouts are not refundable.

C. Impossibility of Performance

It is agreed that Costa Rica Adventure & Guides will be relieved of its obligations in the event of natural disasters, fire, strike lockout, order of government authorities or any reasonable circumstances beyond its control.

D. Privacy Policy

Costa Rica Adventure & Guides will maintain any and all information regarding our guests in a private and secure location in our facility. The information entered into the site will not be provided to any other source for any reason without the legal consent of our guests. This information will be used solely by Costa Rica Adventure & Guides under penalty of applicable law. View the complete privacy policy here.

E. Voluntary Acceptance

By voluntarily visiting this website and by initiating a reservation or payment process, you are accepting these Terms and Conditions and hereby authorizing Costa Rica Adventure & Guides (cédula: 3-101-714-863)  to charge your credit card, even though you may not have signed the original charge note, invoice, or voucher.
